Dear Believer, 

Welcome to the Young Adult Ministry at Saint Ferdinand! We are truly delighted that you have chosen to join our community of faith-filled young adults. Whether you are taking your first steps back into the Church, seeking to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ, or looking for authentic Catholic fellowship, we want you to know: you belong here. 

Our ministry exists to bring young adults (ages 18–39) together in friendship, prayer, and service, helping each of us grow into the fullness of who God calls us to be. Rooted in the Eucharist and inspired by the witness of the saints, we strive to live as missionary disciples—encouraging one another, sharing our gifts, and building up the Body of Christ. As St. Paul reminds us, “You are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (1 Cor 12:27). 

Here’s what you can look forward to: 

Prayer Group Sessions – Our weekly or biweekly gatherings include Scripture reflection, group prayer, and open discussion. We’ll explore key topics such as apologetics, evangelization, early Church history, theology, and discernment of vocations. These evenings are designed to nurture both your faith and your friendships. 

Eucharistic Adoration Worship Nights – On select weekdays, we will gather for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, with live worship music and moments of guided meditation. These evenings are an opportunity to rest in Christ’s presence and deepen your relationship with Him. 

Community & Fellowship – We believe faith grows stronger in community! Alongside prayer and study, you’ll find casual opportunities to connect—like parish social nights, shared meals, and even bar meet-ups—because real friendships are part of our spiritual journey. 

Service & Mission Projects – Our faith comes alive through service. Together, we will feed the homeless through local outreach, spend time with the elderly at senior homes, and join parish-wide efforts to support those in need. We also organize mission trips to Tijuana, offering opportunities to serve our brothers and sisters across borders while experiencing the joy of missionary life. 

Together, these opportunities provide a balanced rhythm of prayer, study, service, and fellowship—helping you live your faith fully and joyfully. We ask that you come with an open heart, a willingness to learn, and a spirit of generosity. By sharing your presence, you strengthen not only your own faith but also the faith of everyone around you.
